Description:
The integral units comprise of
factory designed and encapsulated unit of a scintillator and a
selected photomultiplier optimized for performance in spectroscopic
applications. Many combinations are possible with choice of types and
sizes of the scintillating phosphors and photomultipliers available. The
standards in the industry are the NaI (TI) units with a bi-alkali PMT
chosen for energy resolutions in the 6.0% to 7.5% FWHM range for the 662
kev gamma excitation: |
